
Soms verschijnt er onderweg iets subtiels — een moment, een glimp. Misschien een herinnering, of een verlangen dat je niet kan plaatsen. Op een vroege ochtend, ergens tussen Londen en de Ierse Zee, viel mijn oog op twee bomen naast elkaar. Het leek alsof ze zonder woorden met elkaar spraken. Het beeld bleef bij me.
