Theatre Playground — Hop In And Out Of Character

Dear theatre enthusiast, On Wednesday 26 November, 8 to 10 pm, you're welcome to come and do theatre at our Theatre Playground. This is a low obligation evening we host twice a month for ourselves and for all those interested: anyone who wants to try out theatrical acting, do more theatre, or meet people in an interesting setting. Our focus is on accessibility, and mostly on dramatic improv (so not usually comedy — although scenes often become funny on their own). This is the international edition: open to internationals and Dutchies alike! This evening will be hosted by Marie-Anne, and will be all about getting into character. We'll playfully explore finding your character from a theatre text, and hopping quickly in and out of character. We meet at Strangers' Garage, a cool space in the center of Groningen. We use "pay what you can": after the event, you can make a voluntary donation (suggestion: €7,50): we use your contributions to cover the rent for the evening.
